Marubeni donated 10 million yen in relief aid for the Noto Peninsula earthquake, which occurred in January 2024. In May 2024, ongoing volunteering placements of Marubeni Group executive officers and employees—using the Hokuriku Branch as the base for activities—also commenced, with these volunteers taking part in initiatives towards the recovery and restoration of the disaster area.
