Marubeni has contributed to Japan’s national security as a sales representative in Japan for major overseas manufacturers of aircraft, helicopters, engines, defense equipment, composite materials, and satellite sensors. In the space sector, Marubeni is expanding its business broadly across the value chain, including in the satellite service sector through investment in D-Orbit (Italy) and the sales of satellite data, with the aim of building a service platform that meets diverse needs. Additionally, Marubeni is also working toward the implementation of air mobility (eVTOL) operations in collaboration with overseas manufacturers.
