Marubeni is conducting various businesses related to the use of forest-derived materials ranging from forest plantation, manufacturing of pulp, and manufacturing and trading of paper products. Also, in the biomass fuel business which is expected to have increasing demand, Marubeni will further expand its supply sources. It aims to maximize the value of forest resources by developing environmental forest plantation businesses that pursue economic value through the use of materials and environmental value with an eye toward emissions trading.

We are committed to actively contributing to the realization of a decarbonized society through new environmental afforestation business based on the knowledge we have cultivated through the management of our forest plantation business.
