Marubeni Corporation (hereinafter, “Marubeni”) has agreed to sell all of its shares in Rangers Valley Cattle Station Pty Ltd (hereinafter, “Rangers Valley”), a company engaged in feedlot operations for beef cattle in Australia and the sale of branded beef globally, to Stanbroke Holding Company Pty Ltd (hereinafter, “Stanbroke”), also engaged in feedlot operations for beef cattle in Australia and the sale of branded beef.
Rangers Valley raises premium Black Angus and Wagyu beef cattle, supplying restaurants, wholesalers, and processors in various countries and regions, including Australia, China, Europe, and the United States, with premium beef that is highly regarded by many customers. Under Marubeni’s ownership since 1988, Rangers Valley has grown into one of the world’s leading premium beef suppliers, operating one of the largest feedlots in Australia with over 40,000 head of cattle.
Under its Mid-term Management Strategy (GC2027), Marubeni aims to accelerate investment recovery and prioritize capital allocation to high-quality growth investments. The sale of Rangers Valley has been implemented as part of this initiative. Marubeni will continue to strengthen its business portfolio through asset replacement, aiming to further enhance its corporate value.
