Overview of the Agreement
Under this Agreement, Marubeni will provide incentives* for companies in Hamamatsu City when they move into industrial parks handled by Marubeni within Asia, in addition to support for local market entry through seminars and consultations. Given that many companies in Hamamatsu City, particularly in the automotive industry, are looking to expand into India, the Agreement also includes incentives for entering the Indian market.
This is Marubeni’s second agreement with a local government to provide incentives for manufacturing companies moving into industrial parks overseas, following a similar agreement signed with Aichi Prefecture in June 2023.

Marubeni’s Industrial Park Initiatives
Beginning with the development of the Lat Krabang Industrial Park in Thailand in the 1980s, Marubeni developed and operates seven industrial parks in six countries including Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. In recent years, Marubeni participated in the development of Amata City Ha Long Industrial Park in Vietnam as well as began sales cooperation for Indospace-operated rental factories and warehouses in India in 2024 and for the Amata City Long Thanh Industrial Park in Vietnam in 2025. Through its industrial park business in Asia, Marubeni strives to contribute to the economic growth of the local communities where each park is located.

Future Outlook
Marubeni will continue to leverage its extensive knowledge, experience, and network in industrial park development and operation to support Hamamatsu City-based companies in capturing overseas demand and revitalizing their businesses, while also contributing to economic and industrial development in the countries the companies expand into.
