We operate wholesale and retail power businesses and renewable energy certificate operations in the U.K., U.S., Australia, and Japan, primarily through SmartestEnergy in the U.K. and Marubeni Power Retail in Japan. We are also focusing on expanding our distributed power generation business, railway operation & maintenance business, and water related services. Additionally, we are pursuing new business fields utilizing DX, including energy management such as battery storage and EV charging optimization, as well as circular economy initiatives like solar panel reuse and recycling.

Infrastructure Businesses and Funding

We are involved in infrastructure businesses, including power generation, water, gas, other energy sources, and transportation, around the world. We are committed to renewable energy power generation projects to help realize a low-carbon society, while also diversifying our water supply and sewage services across the entire supply chain. Additionally, we manage funds specializing in equity investments in the transportation, social, and energy infrastructure sectors.
