  • On what day is the gallery closed?

    Sundays, public holidays, year’s end and New Year’s holidays, and other days when the building is closed. The museum is also closed during exhibition changeover periods.

  • Is there any possibility of temporary closures due to typhoon etc?

    There is a possibility of temporary closures so please check our website for the latest information.

  • Are there any Kimono on display at this time?

    It will be exhibited at the opening exhibition II which is scheduled for early June 2022. Please check our website later for the details of the exhibition schedule.

  • Is la Bella Simonetta on display at this time?

    It is scheduled to be exhibited at the opening exhibition III which starts in December 2022.

  • Is there a parking lot for the gallery?

    There is no parking available. Please use a nearby parking lot (KKR Hotel Tokyo, Palace Site Building etc.)

  • Please tell me the barrier free route.

    From Takebashi station, exit the Otemachi side gate and take the Hirakawa-mon(gate) side elevator to the ground level on your left side.
    Or from Jimbocho station, take the elevator near A9 exit to the ground level. The barrier-free route for entering the Marubeni Building is as follows.

  • Can I leave my luggage?

    You may use the free lockers or leave them at the gallery reception.
    Please leave the large luggage in the lockers beforehand. It may cause unintentional contact with the exhibition or other visitors.

  • Are we able to take notes in the venue?

    You may take simple notes but we ask you to use a pencil (no mechanical pencil, ballpoint pens, fountain pens, or hair pens). While taking notes, please do not place the paper against the walls or display cases and please be careful not to disturb other visitors.

  • Are small children allowed to visit?

    Yes, they can, but children younger than elementary school age need to be accompanied by a guardian. And we ask that they do not disturb other visitors. Please note that strollers are not available for rental.

  • Where can I inquire about lost items?
