The energy team has expanded its trading scope by responding to the growing demand for gas and a wide range of petroleum products, including LNG, in both domestic and international markets through Marubeni headquarters’ in Japan.
We have built strong partnerships with refiners, petrochemicals, shipping firms, gas importers and more recently, we aligning with global decarbonization trends by trading bio-based petroleum products. Through these efforts, we continue to contribute to the advancement and transformation of the global Oil & Gas industry.

The Petrochemicals Team specializes in a wide range of petrochemical products, including olefins such as ethylene, propylene, and butadiene, as well as carbon black feedstock derived from refineries and crackers. With extensive in both domestic and international trade, our team manages the import and export of petrochemical products in close cooperation with our Tokyo headquarters. We are dedicated to identifying and developing new business opportunities that respond to market trends and create value of our clients

For performance chemicals field, we are pursuing inventive opportunities in many fields, such as organic chemicals including solvents/monomers, specialty chemicals including catalysts, inorganic chemicals including sulfur, and oleo chemicals.
