Marubeni Corporation has been awarded the "SAM Sector Leader"(a distinction given to only 58 companies, including 3 Japanese companies) for four consecutive years from 2009 along with the "SAM Gold Class" (a distinction given to only 87 companies, including 4 Japanese companies) for three consecutive years from 2010 by SAM, a globally famous CSR research and rating company which analyzes candidate companies for inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), an index of companies leading in the field of socially responsible investment (SRI).
Marubeni will continue its CSR efforts towards its goal of realizing a sustainable society.
