• Operating water business in 5 countries (Chile, Mexico, Peru, China, Australia) Net service population : 4.6 million people.
• Marubeni aims to expand its water business questing to be one of the Top 10 players with net service population of 10 million people.

• Acquisition of Chile's Full Service Water Utility (see below)
• Investment in Major Australian Water Treatment Engineering Company, Osmoflo Holdings Pty Ltd.

• Marubeni and the Innovation Network Corporation of Japan agreed on the purchase of 100% stake (50% each) of Aguas Nuevas, the third largest water and sewerage utility in Chile.
• This is the 3rd water utility project for Marubeni in South America.
