The Plant, Ship & Industrial Machinery division engages in the development and management of oil, gas, iron-making and cement plants; engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services to social infrastructure-related projects and new business opportunities in the related field. The division also deals with the sale of newly built ships, used ships and marine materials, as well as brokering and chartering, sale of textile machinery-related equipment and emission credit trading. In addition, the division strives to enhance sales and engineering of pulp and paper equipment in Japan and abroad, and to develop the new energy equipment market, such as bioethanol, photovoltaic generation and so forth.
