Peru LNG Project
Construction work for this project, which Marubeni has been a part of since August 2007, has progressed smoothly towards the commencement of operations in mid-2010.
This is Marubeni’s third LNG project, following the Qatari and Equatorial Guinean projects. We are seeking to competitively supply LNG in the Pacific Rim region, where the market is expected to expand.

Laffan Refinery Project
This refinery has been steadily producing petroleum products since it began operation in September 2009. Marubeni has been involved in this project since November 2006.
We anticipate that it will help expand our petroleum business, as well as further strengthen our relationship with the State of Qatar and Qatar Petroleum.
