Department, At a Glance
This department was established in May 2001, ahead of the transfer of Marubeni’s Iron & Steel Business Division to Marubeni-Itochu Steel Inc. (MISI, established on October 1, 2001). The department shares information with MISI and other operating companies, including Marubeni Construction Material Lease Co., Ltd., Thai Cold Rolled Steel Sheet Public Co., Ltd. (TCR), etc., in order to promote more organic functions in the iron and steel business, closely connected with other industries, for the Marubeni Group divisions.
